Esco Tool offers the Flange Hog 110 manually operated flange facing tool. It eliminates valve replacement and the pipe cutting, welding, and X-ray inspection involved. The tool requires an approximate 10-in. opening between flanges and refaces damaged RF and FF gasket seats on flanges with a phonographic finish.

Creating a finish that meets B16.5 standards, the tool mounts to the flange ID in a few minutes with a clamping range of 0.9 to 10 in. and 0.005-in. alignment accuracy. Capable of rapidly machining highly alloyed flanges with a reach up to 14 in. OD, the tool comes with straight and 90-degree tool bit holders and uses two-sided bits. Flexible Joints
