Carlyle Group Inc is to acquire 70% of Grupo Garnica Plywood, the Spain based manufacturer of poplar plywood boards from Intermediate Capital Group, the United Kingdom based private Equity Firm, fund management company providing mezzanine, credit and minority equity to mid-market corporates.
The consideration was €500m. The transaction provides an exit strategy for Intermediate Capital Group. Wbp Plywood
