Master Lock Co. touts exterior lock boxes as superior to potted plants and doormats for hiding keys or garage door openers, but an undisclosed flaw makes them easy for unauthorized people to access, a new proposed class action alleges.

The products are metal boxes with 12 buttons on the front, resembling a telephone keypad containing the numerals 0-9 as well as the asterisk and number symbols.
